Minister of Communications and Digital Economic system, Isa Pantami has directed the Nigerian Communications Fee (NCC) and the Nationwide Identification Administration Fee (NIMC) to take away the N20 price imposed on subscribers for NIN retrieval requests.

He mentioned that the Govt Vice-Chairman of NCC and the Director Normal of NIMC, knowledgeable him in a letter conveying the implementation of the directive, that the related authorities had met and negotiated a waiver with the Cell Community Operators in that regard.
