Apparently to cushion the harsh economic hardship faced by all those affected by the wanton destruction of their goods and properties in the Apo District of Abuja, the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mallam Mohammed Bello, has promised compensation for the victims.

The Minister who visited the scenes of the massive destruction of properties especially vehicles belonging to dealers of second hand cars along the Apo mechanic village road in the Apo District has promised to pay compensation to all victims of the carnage unleashed by unidentified persons.

Speaking to the victims on Thursday during a fact-finding visit to the scenes, Mallam Bello commiserated with all those who lost their properties in the unfortunate incident.

The Minister urged the victims not to be persuaded to take laws into their own hands but to join hands with FCT administration to restore peace in the City.

Mallam Bello however promised those who lost their livelihoods they will receive compensation to cushion the effects of their losses.
