Youths under the banner of Gwoza Youth Community Watch Forum, GYCWF have commended Governor Babagana Umara Zullum of Borno State for resettling of Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs from Ngushe community.

In a press statement signed by the Chairman GYCWF , Sadiq K. Abubakar and made available to Arewa Affairs on Monday.

The statement reads apart ” On behalf of entire youths of Gwoza local government Area of the Borno , I will like to commend His Excellency Engr. Prof. Babagana Umara Zullum for launching of first phase of Resettlement Scheme for Ngoshe Community of Gwoza Local Government.

It may be recall that, Ngoshe Community was among the several communities in Gwoza Locaal Government displaced by insurgents, the town has been inaccessible for a decade with more than 14,000 of its displaced people taking shelter in IDP Camps across the nation and the neighbouring Country (Cameroun Republic).

As a result, many people have suffered the lack of good shelter and food to the extent that people doubt if there is any possibility for them to access their community ever again”.

Mr. Abubakar further said the governor has proven that he is man of his words and masses servant.

” Today! That question is not only numeral in the heart of people but has been cleared as the governor of the people assured.
It is true, as further problem by our able governor that, when the right person rules, the good people rejoice because their expectations were all made, Alhamdulillah”.

He added that governor Zullum has recorded tremendous achievement and transformed the state within this shortest time with limited resources available .

The chairman also solicitated the support of the governor in resettling some dispaced communities in the area.

” We are also soliciting your support for the resettlement of Ashigashiya/Kirawa, Hambagda, Limankara Wala and Warabe community to the same rank as you have done for Ngoshe”.

” I can’t end this good will message without acknowledging the effort and sacrifice of the Deputy Governor Hon. Kadafur, who lead the Ngoshe resettlement program, we thank you very much for being loyal to your boss and good people of Borno, in the same manner, I would like to extend our profound gratitude to all the security agencies for their sacrifice and the unfailingly in support to His Excellency’s effort and determination to make Borno a safe and secure state, May the Almighty Allah continue to bless you all abundantly for the gentlemen of the press and all other guest, let me thank you for listening and for your time” he added.
