Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Water is Right Foundation, a German Organization for upgrading of sanitation facilities in hospitals across the state.

In a statement signed by Lawal Muazu Bauchi Special Assistant on New Media to the Governor on Friday.

He said ” Under the agreement, the organization will deploy its resources in the state so as to achieve the goal of zero open defecation as part of its WASH policy.

The two parties have agreed to work together to improve trade and investment relationships between Bauchi State and Germany”.

Similarly, the Governor had met with Mrs Stefanie, the CEO of BetterEcho GmbH and her team in continuation of his engagements with critical stakeholders in Germany.

However, Governor Bala Mohammed has granted audience, two representatives of the Bauchi State Community in Germany, Usman Abdullahi Giade of Deutsche Welle Radio and Dr Gar of the Linguistics Department, University of Berlin who pledged to support their state to access opportunities in the educational sector and bilateral cooperation.

The Bauchi Governor who expressed gratitude for the visit, appealed to them not to relent in seeking for further ways of assisting their home state through international opportunities.

Governor Bala Mohammed will also meet with many potential investors and conglomerates in Berlin as part his official working visit to Germany.
