The leadership of the lower chamber of the National Assembly got the mandate of members on Tuesday to wade in and resolve the issues surrounding the strike action.

However, at the meeting on Thursday, ASUU through its National Chairman, Biodun Ogunyemi told the House’s delegation, led by Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila that it needed until next week to take a position on the intervention, as it needed time to consult with other organs of the union.
