The Academic established by former Borno State Governor Kashim Shettima for children rendered orphans as result of Bokoharam activities in the Northeast region has commenced activities on Tuesday in Maiduguri.
The Academy named after president Mohammadu Buhari will catered for the orphans and visit vulnerables affected by insurgent activities, in a post on his Facebook page the former Governor Kashim Shettima lauded the effort of the incumbent Governor of the state.
He said ” Muhammadu Buhari Academy, for Boko Haram Orphans commenced academic activities today in Maiduguri ”
He added that ” Many Governors would rather start new projects than to kickstart activities at those constructed by his Predecessor.
We commend Gov. Zulum for selflessly sustaining the signature projects of the Kashim Shettima Administration of which he was a Pivotal Anchor Person”
