Hoodlums attacked Kano Pillars in Dikko Stadium Katsina


Kano Pillars FC delegation has been attacked in Muhammad Dikko Stadium Katsina shortly after securing 1-1 draw against the host Katsina United in Nigeria Primer Football League,NPFL.

The Public Relation Officer of the team , Lurwanu Idris told PRIME TIMES that they were held hostage at the stadium.

He said many players were attacked by angry supporters of Katsina United and some hoodlums resulting injuries.

Reports indicate that officials and journalist covering the events were also attacked.

It was also gathered that policemen have been mobilised to rescue the players and others held hostage in the stadium.
