GPU advocates creation of Vocational training centers in Ganjuwa LG

Ganjuwa Local Government based union, GPU has on Sunday decried poor conditions of some health facilities and schools in the area.

The Chairmen Committe set by the union to examine the conditions of the two notable institutions, Sagir Adamu and Dr. Muhammad Lawal Inuwa respectively made the disclosure while presenting their reports during the monthly meeting of the union held at Learn on ICT.Computer Adjacent Reemee Clinic Old GRA.Bauchi.

Enumerating the problems Sagir Adamu said
” most of our maternities are facing a gross inadequate facilities which militate against their smooth operations.

Staffers are Inadequate and most of the major treatments and services are being carried by attendance, which in idle situation should not be like that” .

He stressed the need for employing qualify staffers to run the maternities, clinics and hospital in the local government.

” There is a need of qualified medical technician in all the maternities and also with additional staff”.

Meanwhile on his part his part the chairman committee on Education Dr Muhammad Lawal identified the problem militating the sector to local government to include ” Lack of accommodation for teachers which hinders most teachers from attending their duty post regularly.

Inadequate of science laboratories, facilities and other teaching aids in some senior secondary school
Improper utilisation of some equipment by the teachers in some schools where facilities are available ”.

He attributed that over population of students in classes harmpared teaching and learning in the schools.
Responding the Chairman of Ganjuwa Progressive Union,GPU Nasiru Yusuf thanked the two committes for the job done.

After the meeting attended by handful members of the union, the following resolutions where made.
1. The need for boosting the performance and activities of Government Day Technical College Kafin Madaki
2. The need for creating vocational centres order to train our younger generation bon skills aquisition in two wards of the local government.
3. The need for organising voluntary extra moral classes various communities to help students in various communities of the local government
