He applauded the Nigeria Airforce for its commitment in containing insecurity and other forms of criminality in the country in addition to outstanding performance in protection of the nation.
The governor appealed for synergy between the Airforce and the state government as his administration was determined to provide enabling environment for security agencies for the protection of lives and property of the citizens.
Responding, the Chief of Air staff, Air Marshal Sidique Baba Abubakar who expressed gratitude to Governor Bala Mohammed for the visit, said arrangements have reached advance stage for the establishment of Airforce University in Bauchi, as well as renovation and expansion of Azare airport.
Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar said the force through it’s reforms agenda, has recorded tremendous successes in the ongoing fight against insecurity across the country.
