Mijinyawa NYP Speaker cautions Youths as Muslims Celebrate Ed-El fitr


The speaker of the Nigerian Youths Parliament Mubarak Mijiyawa has called on Nigerian to be law abiding and desist from crimes and other social vices during and after this festive period.

In a statement signed by his Senior Legislative Aid, Itunu Eromosele Akinsomosin on Tuesday June 4.

The Hon  Speaker also enjoined the youths to be law abiding and desist from crimes, thuggery, drug abuse and other forms of social and societal vices that will only negates our ideals as the future of this nation”

The statement further reads “He further call on the youth of this great nation to use this festive season to promote unity, love and harmony that will guarantee our peaceful coexistence  which will move us forward and make us more useful in our quest to represent the nation in the global arena”

He urged youths to pray for peace and unity during this period of celebrations and enjoined them to be steadfast and dedicated in the drive for better Nigeria.

While praying for a joyous sallah celebrations, the Hon  Speaker challenged the Nigerian youths to raise up in agility, and be steadfast, dedicated and determine in the drive for a better Nigeria as this is the only country we can call our own”
