Speaking during the session at the Council Chamber, Government House Bauchi, Governor Bala Mohammed said the session was part of his administration’s efforts to ensure mutual working relationship between government and the Organizations.
The Governor said considering the contributions of Non Governmental Organizations at providing social services, the need for him to sought for their support became necessary in order to ensure improvement in critical sectors of the state economy.
He noted that the interactive session would afford him the opportunity to Know areas of interventions so as to ensre timely and prompt release of counterpart funds.
Governor Bala Mohammed said to ensure effective implementation of his blueprint geared towards improving the well being of people of the state, working with International Organizations would be given the desired priority by the present administration in the state.
The Permanent Secretary of the State Budget and Planning Commission, Alhaji Yahuza Adamu who led members of the International Development Partners and Donor Agencies to the visit, applauded the governor for initiating the session.
Yahuza Adamu expressed optimism that the support seek by the governor from the development patners would no doubt address the challenges affecting sectors of the economy in the state.
