The National Association of Nigerian Students in conjunction with the Students Affairs Division of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi organise a public lecture to commemorate the 37 years of existance of the institution.
In a statement signed by Vice President of NANS in charge of National Affairs, Shettima Umar on Thursday.
He said the lecture aim at celebrating the achievements recorded and proper solutions to the challenges facing the university.
”Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi is 37 years old, Justifiably, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Office of the Vice President, National Affairs found reasons to celebrate on this milestone, at least, if not for any other reasons, but to thank Almighty for making it possible for us to reach where we are today”.
“It is also an opportunity for the entire university community to reflect on its 37 years journey as a technology university, look into history, asses its current standing and visualize on its bearing in the age of digitization and increased competition amidst financial and managerial challenges“, he added.
Umar explained that the vice of the university, Prof. Saminu Ibrahim will chair the public lecture tagged “Saminu Abdurrahman Ibrahim Public Lecture ” with the theme: ” The Success and Challenges of ATBU Administration at 37″.
The schedule to hold on 17th March, 2018 at 1,000 Capacity lecture Theatre, KSLT, ATBU Bauchi Yelwa Campus by 10:00am.
